Sneakers, Sandals, and Stilettos

Spring season is here and what better way to celebrate than with a post all about shoes! One of my favorite yearly chores is spring cleaning. Most of us dread it, but something about out with the old, in with the new is so refreshing for me. Between moving and this year’s spring cleaning, I’ve found so many adorable shoes that have been tucked away for far too long!

The Chunky Heel
I’ve always been a fan of never “reinventing” the wheel. The chunky heel has been around for decades and when it makes it’s way back into the scene, I am the first one to jump on the wagon!  This retro 50s look is going to be huge this Spring/Summer season.  Not only is this look super trendy but most of these shoes are super comfortable and easy to walk in. They’re the perfect shoe for walking around the city on work days and can easily transition into a night out shoe.  Any peice that you can dress up or dress down is a go-to for me. It makes being fashionably creative that much easier.

Statement Slip-On
I absolutely adore the convenience of slip on shoes.  They’re comfortable, easy, and super versatile. These trendy gems are what I like to call my “weekend warriors”. I swear, they get me through farmer’s market trips, casual bike rides with friends, to and from yoga class, and comfortably through every flight! I prefer a solid black and white pair as a staple, but if you’re feeling daring there are adorable ones here!
Strappy Sandals
Depending on the length of your leg, strappy sandals can either make or break you. I am fairly tall, so gladiators are always a fun shoe for me to throw on when I am in the mood to make a statement. However, if you’re short, you might want to opt for a self-tie strappy sandal so you can adjust the height of the strap on your leg.
I hope you all had a great Easter and are getting around to your spring cleaning!
Sincerely,
Symantha
