Hi guys! One of my new years resolutions that I’ve actually been following through with this year has been to regularly drink lemon water. Indulging in at least one glass of lemon water a day can benefit your body in endless ways. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my mood and energy ever since I started this routine. It’s cleansing and healing effects, not only have immediate results but will benefit your body in the long run. It’s an easy, inexpensive way to give your health an extra boost. Trust me…this is a habit everyone needs to pick up!

First of all, lemon water is the perfect alternative to any sugary juice. While orange juice and apple juice has up to 150+ calories, lemon water has zero. Lemon contains pectin fiber, which can reduce hunger cravings. It’s also the perfect metabolism booster

2. Clears skin
Lemon water is rich in antioxidants and vitamin c, which can help revitalize the skin. It’s acidity also has a positive effect on the skin, killing the type of bacteria known to cause acne.

3. Supports Immune System
Like mentioned, Lemon water is loaded with vitamin c, which we all know is our immune systems best friend. Additionally, because of its antibacterial nature, lemon water is a natural cure for a sore throat and can positively assist in fighting against an infection.

4. Improves Digestion
I like to think of lemon water as the mediator for my body. It has a way of just regulating things out by eliminating waste more efficiently.
